I've been examining some of the various web sites related to York, Pennsylvania. Individuals seem to spring up from time to time, but the predominant sites are ones like the local newspaper - the York Daily Record and government related sites like the York City web site.

For some history of York, you may want to visit the York County Heritage Trust. People tell me that the York Fair is a big deal and that York Peppermint Patties were once actually made in York, but are now produced by the Hershey Food Company. The York Barbell hall of fame is just north of the city. It can be found by the spinning weight lifter outside the building, readily viewable from nearby route 83.

Yorkfest is a Celebration of the Arts is York's premier summer fine arts festival along the Heritage Rail Trail, in the courtyard of the Colonial Courthouse and in Lafayette Plaza (corner of North Pershing and West Philadelphia Streets) in historic downtown York.
